Welcome back to VFINE Blowing Machine Channel. Today We will learn about the injection blowing machine.

Injection blowing machine is a processing and molding machine that injects heated plastic particles into a mold to form a predetermined shape. It is currently widely used in beverage factories. Injection molding blow molding machines can produce bottles of various shapes, sizes, and thicknesses with high production efficiency. However, the bottle wall thickness produced by injection molding blow molding machines is relatively large and not suitable for producing products that require thin-walled bottles. Injection blowing machine is usually divided into vertical and horizontal injection blowing machine.
One step injection blow moulding: Injection and blowing are completed on the same machine. According to different types of machines, they can be divided into three stations and two stations to complete injection and blowing. Each station can run simultaneously, with high production efficiency and short cycle. It can also be connected to the conveyor belt for automatic counting and packaging, truly achieving "no contact" with human hands throughout the entire production process of medicinal plastic bottles, ensuring product hygiene and cleanliness. The two stations of the "injection-blow" machine : the first station is the injection molding station, and the second station is the blow molding station. Due to the lack of a dedicated bottle removal and cooling station, it is difficult to achieve fully automatic counting and packaging (usually bulk manual counting). In addition, the production cycle is longer and the production efficiency is lower than that of three stations machine. The raw materials usually include: PP, PET, PETG, PC
Advantages: High degree of automation and high production capacity. The bottle neck has high flatness and excellent sealing. HDPE/PP raw materials are selected, with uniform bottle walls, excellent barrier properties, and long shelf life of the drug. At present, most standardized pharmaceutical packaging enterprises in China adopt a one-step "injection blowing" process equipment, with a "three station" structure as the main method.
Disadvantages: High equipment investment, complex molds, and high system configuration requirements. Not suitable for small variety and batch production. But mass production can achieve high quality, low cost, and good economic benefits. Changing molds takes a long time and incurs high mold cost.
